Last night Ange Postecoglou got his first live look at Scottish football as he watched the 0-0 draw at Wembley alongside Dom McKay.
The performance of Callum McGregor would certainly have impressed the new Celtic boss with the midfielder looking like his old self in a well-coached and motivated side.
John McGinn and Kieran Tierney also excelled but that duo will remain ‘What If’ moments for the Celtic support with the summer of 2018 the start of the decline into the current trophyless state.

Postecoglou and McKay have the massive task of turning Celtic around with the biggest turnover of players this century.
A smattering of players returned to Lennoxtown on Friday but at least six first team starters are required plus the boost of McGregor, James Forrest and Greg Taylor reporting back from international duties.
Resolving the futures of Kris Ajer, Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie is essential, if one thing was learned from last season it is not to hold on to players that would rather be elsewhere.
