Olivier Ntcham looks like being the first player transferred out of Celtic with the Transfer Window opening tomorrow.

The midfielder has fallen rapidly from prominence at Celtic with a loan move to Marseille in January doing nothing for his credibility.

With a year left to run on his contract it seems that Celtic are prepared to write that off in order to get a high earner off the pay roll.

David Friel, who broke the news of Neil Lennon’s resignation, writes in The Sun:

It’s understood Ntcham has now thrashed out personal terms that will net him around £1million a year.

And AEK hope to pick him up on a free – if Celtic agree not to take up an option on the final year of his deal.

Ntcham could even make the move in the coming days after talks moved quickly over the weekend.

After making such a big impact after his July 2017 move from Manchester City it looks like Ntcham will be making a very low key exit.

During his debut season he was being compared to Moussa Dembele as someone that would very soon be playing at the highest level.

The midfielder seemed to slowly drop his standards after his first season, when he went on loan to Marseille Neil Lennon claimed that he had wanted out of Celtic for two years.
