Fabrizo Romano has claimed that Celtic have opened talks with Spurs to sign Joe Hart.
Goalkeeping is one of many problem positions for Ange Postecoglou but whether the former England internationalist would provide a solution is another matter.
Up until 2016 Hart was regarded as the best goalkeeper in England but that didn’t impress Pep Guardiola who demoted him with the 2016/17 spent in Serie A with Torino.
It has been a dramatic fall for Hart since then with spells at West Ham, Burnley and now Spurs failing to get his career back on track.
Celtic have opened talks with Tottenham to sign Joe Hart as new goalkeeper. Negotiations ongoing between the two clubs. ??? #CelticFC
Aurelio Buta is still the main target as right-back, as reported days ago. Celtic are working to reach an agreement. ??

Romano was the first reporter to link Carl Starfelt with Celtic, since then his tweets have been eagerly anticipated for news on further transfer business.
Ange Postecoglou does have three internationalists to choose from but it could be that a former England keeper will be next up to solve a problem position that dogged Celtic throughout last season.
