Conor Hazard is wanted for a season long loan.

The Irishman made his big breakthrough at Celtic with a top team debut at home to Lille followed by picking up a Scottish Cup winners medal after two shoot-out saves against Hearts.

Scott Bain and Vasilis Barkas shared goalkeeping duty under John Kennedy but with an eye to the medium term Hazard signed a new two year contract.

Celtic’s goalkeeping situation looks up for grabs under Ange Postecoglou but Dundee could offer Hazard the genuine prospect of regular first team football in the Premiership.

The Daily Record reports:

Dundee are keen to land Conor Hazard back on-loan from Celtic for their Premiership return.

The Northern Ireland international had a successful loan at Dens Park in the 2019-20 season.

Dundee boss James McPake tried to get him back for the last campaign but Hazard was handed a new contract and also got a run in the Celtic first-team.

Hazard made 11 appearances for Dundee during season 2019/20 before it was prematurely ended by Lockdown.

Last season he made seven Celtic appearances, the last of them at home to Livingston in January while Bain and Barkas had to self isolate.
