Celtic fans lucky enough in the ballot to attend the forthcoming matches against Preston North End or Midtjylland will need to get their hands on a printer to gain entry.
It is 17 months since fans enjoyed a 5-0 win over St Mirren, during that time QR code technology has become common place but Celtic haven’t installed that system into their stadium.
Cafes and restaurants large and small have the technology where smart-phone users scan the code to get access to a menu and the ability to place an order- and make payment.
To gain access to airports in and out of the UK a QR code is needed but Celtic will be asking fans to print out tickets.
For over a decade bar codes have been used at the Celtic Park turnstiles but with so much technology now in everyday use QR codes have still to make their way into the matchday experience.
Print at home? I expect it will be as we don’t have QR functionality at the moment

I do think it is something we will work towards but as it stands we need to work with what we have

Ridiculous tbh. Full year to plan this and everyone and their grannies using QR codes and we need to try and find someone with a printer. Shambolic JP. As usual, not directed at you. This is a real failure of the club to have temp measures in place whilst they update into 2021.
