Celtic Park has reopened with fans able to go on Stadium Tours.

Normally the tours are heavily populated by visitors from outside Scotland but with the stadium out of bounds since March 2020 the tours are providing a ‘fix’ for fans that are far closer to Glasgow G40.

The stadium and the surroundings appear to be in good condition with the club and supporters waiting on word from the Scottish Government about how many fans can attend next Saturday’s home match against Preston North End.

With close to 50,000 Season Ticket holders Celtic will be looking for an increase in the 12,500 fans that were allowed in to Hampden to watch four European Championship matches.

The Preston match is followed three days later by the visit of Midtjylland in a Champions League with the club looking to avoid the eery silence that accompanied last season’s exit against Ferencvaros.
