Odsonne Edouard is reportedly a transfer target for Crystal Palace.

New boss Patrick Vieira faces a big job rebuilding the first team squad and will be well aware of Edouard through his days with the French youth sides.

Edouard was strongly linked with a Leicester reunion with Brendan Rodgers but that appears to have fallen through with Patson Daka brought in from RB Salzburg.

With less than a year on his contract it seems inevitable that Edouard will be on the move this summer with The Guardian reporting:

Palace have also expressed interest in signing Conor Gallagher from Chelsea despite backing out of a loan for the England Under-21 midfielder last summer when they opted to borrow Michy Batshuayi instead. The Celtic striker Odsonne Édouard, who worked with Palace’s new development coach Saïd Aïgoun at Paris Saint-Germain’s academy, is another potential target.

Edouard started Celtic’s Champions League qualifier against Midtjylland but looked well short of his best.

Albian Ajeti and Leigh Griffiths were on the bench but neither looks capable of coming into the side and playing regularly.

Kyogo Furuhashi is currently in quarantine and arrives at Celtic on the back of scoring in his last five appearances for Vissel Kobe.
