See you soon- Starfelt’s Celtic update

See you soon is the message to Celtic fans from Carl Starfelt.

The defender’s transfer to Celtic was announced on Wednesday with one report claiming that Starfelt had been in quarantine in London since Sunday.

Quarantine details seem to be vague but with Celtic taking on West Ham today fans will be keeping an eye around the directors box to see if Starfelt makes an appearance.

The Swede won’t be eligible for Wednesday’s Champions League qualifier against Midtjylland but seems to be on course to play in the opening SPFL fixture away to Hearts a week today.

If Celtic get past Midtjylland they will be away to PSV Eindhoven or Galatasaray on August 3 or 4 which is just the sort of match that you’d want to call on a 26-year-old Swedish international.

With Nir Bitton suspended it looks like Ange Postecoglou will give Dane Murray his competitive debut in the return leg against Midtjylland on Wednesday.
