New bhoy Liel Abada has been named as a substitute for Celtic’s friendly against Preston North End.

The Israeli teenager joined on Wednesday, trained with his new team-mates yesterday and can look forward to some game time today as Celtic gear up to face Midtjylland on Tuesday.

Vasilis Barkas and Albian Ajeti have recovered from the knocks that the suffered on Wednesday to take their place in Ange Postecoglou’s first home match.

With Carl Starfelt believed to be close to signing Osaze Urhoghide partners Stephen Welsh in central defence with Leo Hjelde on the bench with Dane Murray.

Owen Moffat gets his first taste of Celtic Park, starting on the right-wing with Adam Montgomery on the other flank.

Tom Rogic and Boli Bolingoli make the bench for the first time this season.
