Carl Starfelt was posted missing from Thursday training at Rubin Kazan.
There could be a perfectly innocent excuse but with the transfer window wide open and clubs emerging from a season of Lockdown every small detail can be used to build a jigsaw.
Earlier in the week Celtic were linked with Starfelt who seems to tick a number of boxes in Ange Potecoglou’s wish-list.
At 26 years of age Starfelt has strong experience of Swedish and Russian football with three international caps to hint at his potential.

Swedes have had a great track record at Celtic, in any 21st Century All Time XI Mikael Lustig and Johan Mjallby would be contenders for the side led by Henrik Larsson.
With training underway with Rubin Kazan Starfelt shouldn’t be far away from the fitness levels of the Celtic squad.
Midtjylland face Celtic on July 20 with the negotiation room for new signings becoming very narrow.
