Gerry McCulloch has been posted missing from Celtic TV’s coverage of the pre-season trip to Wales.
The former Super Scoreboard anchor-man has been a prominent feature of previous pre-season tours, getting in front of the camera in the latest kit and buddying up with the manager.
McCulloch did interview Ange Postecoglou by Zoom when the Australian was announced as the new Celtic boss but was posted missing from his first Lennoxtown interview on June 24. Since June 18, the day of Scotland’s draw with England at Wembley he hasn’t used his Twitter account.

According to Linked In McCulloch is Head of TV and Digital Media at Celtic, throughout last season he either presented coverage of home matches or provided the commentary.
He could be taking a holiday but after being the face of pre-season fixtures since 2017 striking up a relationship with the new manager would be important with Paul Cuddihy of the Celtic View and website taking up that role from Wales.
Before his absence from Twitter McCulloch was talking up the work of BBC Scotland and STV during the European Championships.
I always tend to gravitate towards the Celtic players but tonight I thought Grant Hanley was superb. ???????

Watched the game in the office on @BBCSportScot. I thought Shelley Kerr spoke well after the match. You could tell Kenny McLean & Darren Fletcher were nervous about being critical.

People who work in media/PR/broadcasting jumping on Twitter to criticise the actions of colleagues working in the middle of an emotional crisis situation they themselves would hope they would never have to contend with ????

You’ve missed the point of my tweet. Of course things should’ve been done differently. That wasn’t what I was commenting on though
