Rubin Kazan are reported to have made a £15.4m bid for Odsonne Edouard with Celtic recently doing business with the Russian side to sign Carl Starfelt.
That sort of fee is bound to interest Celtic with the striker in the final year of his contract, whether the 23-year-old sees his future in Russia is another matter. Returning to France would only be considered if no suitable offer comes in from the EPL.
Edouard had been expected to leave Celtic this summer but with five days left in the window interest looks as if it is about to be stepped up.

Celtic are being strongly linked with a move for Georgios Giakoumakis of VVV Venlo but losing Edouard at this stage is likely to trigger a couple of deals before Tuesday’s deadline.
News of a genuine bid on the table for Edouard could raise interest from English sides with West Ham, Brighton and Crystal Palace all linked at various stages to the Frenchman.
