Celtic are reported to have agreed a transfer fee with Ryal Antwerp but have still to thrash out personal terms with Aurelio Buta.
A deal for the right-back has appeared to be imminent since the middle of last week but Ange Postecoglou is still waiting to add to his squad.
Celtic signed Carl Starfelt on July 21, within an hour of selling Kris Ajer with no deals announced in the last 13 days.
Celtic have agreed a deal with Antwerp. Agreeing personal terms with the player has been the issue. He is not looking for bank-breaking money either. https://t.co/MsZPy9HKeu

Agreeing terms with the player is generally the first stage of any transfer with outline terms discussed with an agent before approaching the club.
With a year left to run on his Antwerp deal it seems likely Buta will be on the move this summer with Galatasaray and Fenerbahce reported to be interested.
Anthony Ralston has been Celtic’s best player in their last two matches but the fact that he only made one appearance last season illustrates that he isn’t highly rated by those inside the club.
