Conor Hazard could be the next Celtic goalkeeper to go out on loan.

Yesterday Ross Doohan joined Tranmere Rovers on a season long loan following the signing of Joe Hart.

Hazard appears to be fourth choice keeper at the moment, as a 23-year-old internationalist it is essential for his career that he gets meaningful game time this season.

Discussing Hazard, The Sun reports:

SunSport understands the Northern Ireland international, who signed a new two year deal in March, is a potential loan target for Scottish and English clubs.

The 23-year-old is now behind Vasilis Barkas, Scott Bain and Joe Hart in the pecking order. Hazard helped Celtic complete a quadruple Treble last December with shoot-out heroics in the Cup final triumph over Hearts.

Dundee have been linked with an interest in Hazard, before lockdown he was first choice keeper at Dens under James McPake.

Playing in the SPFL Premiership would be ideal but being unable to play against Celtic could go against him.

Finding the right loan club is a complex process but as fourth choice at Celtic being on the bench and involved every matchday would be a step forward.

Hazard made seven appearances last winter before Neil Lennon decided to recall Vasilis Barkas.
