Radio Scotland has provided Charlie Adam with a platform to deflect away from the racist abuse of Kyogo Furuhashi.

The Dundee midfielder has become a media favourite over the last two years with his anti-Celtic opinions fitting right in with the state broadcaster.

On Sunday evening the civilised world was disgusted by the video clips shared about Ibrox fans enjoying their day out to Dingwall.

To those that know and understand their fanbase it was no surprise. Two illegal gatherings in George Square this year, crippling the city centre, causing carnage with minimal repercussions has given legitimacy to their belief that they are a special group of people.

All of those traits are in evidence on a daily basis and around Ibrox and elsewhere on matchdays. Rather than deal with those issues Adam dragged up his own problem, pointing blame at Celtic fans in a bid to even things up.

Portraying both clubs and sets of supporters as equals all plays into the O** F*** agenda of the media that neither club wishes to challenge or disrupt.
