The SPLF have referred their cinch sponsorship dispute with Sevco to the SFA.
After setting up an £8m five year deal that will benefit every member club the contract is at risk because the club from Ibrox don’t like it.
All other member clubs have added the cinch logo to their kit, provided pitchside advertising and backing boards for all media interviews.
The Ibrox club are claiming that the cinch deal conflicts with an existing sponsorship but despite having their Cas ore shirt feature billboards for 32 Red, Tomket Tires and Utilita there is no sign of Parks of Hamilton.

The SPFL letter confirms that the Ibrox club haven’t provided the SPFL with a copy of the commercial contract that conflicts with cinch.
It seems strange that the letter comes from Murdoch MacLennan rather than Neil Doncaster. With Peter Lawwell stepping aside at Celtic the SPFL CEO is very vulnerable having been unable to find an alternative job since the summer of 2012 when he helped draw up the Five Way Agreement which created a different set of rules for clubs from Ibrox.
Last month the SPFL turned a 2-0 win for Kilmarnock over East Kilbride in the Premier Sports Cup into a 3-0 defeat because they fielded an ineligible player. When it comes to Sevco the SPFL seem less reluctant to apply their own rules.
