Conflicting messages are coming out about Celtic’s alleged interest in Aurelio Buta with the only certainly being that he hasn’t signed a contract and isn’t on this afternoon’s flight to the Czech Republic.
Fabrizio Romano was the first reporter to link the Royal Antwerp right-back with Celtic, as far as this transfer window is concerned he has become to go-to Twitter account for transfer business.
Last week it was widely reported that the deal was close to completion but even by Celtic’s laboured negotiating standards the £3m transfer has yet to be sealed.
