Gary McAllister has revealed that several Murray Park starlets are with his squad in Armenia for today’s Europa League play-off against Alashkert.
Kemar Roofe and John Lundstram are missing due to suspensions with James Tavernier, Allan McGregor, Jon McLaughlin, Ryan Kent and Scott superyoomin Wright left out for reasons that haven’t been identified.
UEFA allow a squad of 25 players to be listed plus a B squad of players that have been brought up through the club academy to supplement that squad.
With seven players missing and the possibility of others testing positive before today’s 4pm kick-off CPT McAllister has had to make contingency plans with some players on stand-by to step up from the Lowland League to UEFA qualifiers.

We’ve got some youngsters that have come from the B team, they’ve impressed recently, they’ve impressed when they’ve come over to train with the first team.
We’re confident that if we can get in a nice position all of them can get on the pitch. If that was the case that would be massive for them, already it is a great experience for these younger guys to have joined the training today, travelling, you know it’s probably a first for all of them but they are well capable, we are very confident in these young players.
