Mark Hateley has tipped Alfredo Morelos to join a top European club!
The former HJK Helsinki starlet has been tipped to leave Ibrox since January 2018 when moonbeams were launched about bids coming in from China.
Top European clubs have watched Morelos starring in the Europa League group stages over the last two seasons without anyone being tempted to put in a bid.
In November 2019 Steven Gerrard said that he would reject a £50m bid for the striker signed by Pedro Caixinha but with two weeks of the transfer window left to raise £20m that valuation will have to be revised.
His representatives are driving it because it’s beneficial to them, but it’s beneficial to him too.
When he does go to a top European team, he will get involved in different systems, styles and cultures. I have no doubt it will benefit him and he’ll become a better player.
I don’t knock him for thinking like that because we’ve all been there.
In the eighties Hateley left Portsmouth for AC Milan before going on to play in the tax haven of Monaco.
None of those top European clubs have been linked with the ill-disciplined Colombian who returned from the Copa America too late to play in the first leg of the disastrous Champions League qualifier against Malmo.
