Kris Boyd hasn’t surfaced since watching Malmo win at Ibrox on Tuesday night.
The former Kilmarnock striker appears on Sky Sports News round the clock, popping up outside Ibrox, in a studio or sharing his opinions from the comfort of home.
His hairweave and Brendan Rodgers style gnashers were never far from a screen last season but after watching Malmo triumph for Sky Sports News on Tuesday night he seems to be taking a break.
The fall out from the Champions League exit has been mighty but yesterday as SSN looked for an upbeat reaction to three defeats on the bounce they turned to an Ibrox blogger.

Rangers rose to the occasion last night, what they didn’t do was defend two throw-ins well then struggled to get back into the game against a very well organised Malmo team who are of course the Swedish champions.
With that sort of insight from fan media Gerrard can be assured of an easy ride with all attention now on tomorrow’s League Cup tie at home to Dunfermline.
Sky’s next SPFL match is Dundee v Hibs on August 22.
