Murdo Fraser failed to Follow Follow up on his tweet about returning to Ibrox.
The serial loser (list MSP) has been at the front of the deluded queue this year with one spectacular piece of fiction published last week by The Scotsman.
It was straight off a message board as Fraser whined that the world was out to get his club despite the SNP keeping the lights on with a £3.2m interest free loan earlier this year.
After defending two nights of carnage in Glasgow in the spring Fraser was back at Ibrox to watch his heroes for the first time since the 3-1 pumping from Bayer Leverkusen.
For 45 minutes he was in his glory as Alfredo Morelos levelled the aggregate scores- the group stage of the Champions League was within touching distance.
The second half will live long in the memory of those that witnessed it, the parallels with 2011 and the old Rangers club are uncanny.
After last week’s attack on the SNP it is unlikely that another interest free bail out request will be favourably received leaving Fraser and his fellow fans to dig deep to pay the wage bill for the remainder of this season, not forgetting Income Tax and National Insurance.
