Obsessed Charlie Adam is still banging on about the possible transfer value of Odsonne Edouard.
After being substituted an hour into his side’s 6-0 hammering from Celtic you’d think that his own match fitness and the performance of his team-mates and manager would be more of a priority.
Two days after his Celtic Park run-around Adam was on BBC Scotland duty watching Malmo deny Steven Gerrard’s side a £30m Champions League windfall but it seems that a French striker is at the forefront of his thoughts as the Daily Record reported:
Speaking on the PLZ Football Show, Adam said: “You’re still going to get £5million to £8million for Edouard. It’s still not going to be double figures. The Celtic fans can come for me again if they like.”
Dundee have a Premier Sports Cup tie at home to Motherwell today with James McPake’s forward options including Cillian Sheridan and Jason Cummings. Neither are likely to be subject of £5m bids before the transfer window closes.
Next Sunday Adam gets the chance to showcase his ability when Sky Sports broadcast the home match against Hibs.
