Celtic are reported to be one step away from signing Josip Juranovic from Legia Warsaw.
The right-back was part of the Croatian squad at the European Championships with a fee of 3m euros being reported.
Celtic have been strongly linked with Aurelio Buta of Royal Antwerp but with less than three weeks to go of the transfer window it seems that they have switched their interest to Juranovic.
Losing to Dinamo Zagreb last night in the Champions League has forced Legia’s hand with Juranovic apparently on his way to Celtic.

The 25-year-old played two matches at Euro 2020. In the first two group games of the Croatian national team (against England and the Czech Republic), Juranovi? was sitting on the bench. He played the full 90 minutes in the duel with Scotland, while in the 1/8 final match with Spain (defeat in penalties), the Legia Warszawa player stayed on the pitch for 74 minutes.
Juranovic was highly praised for playing last season and at the Euro. No wonder then that foreign clubs became interested in him. It was said that it could go to Spartak Moscow.
Now it seems the Croatian is close to a transfer to Celtic Glasgow , Scotland runner-up. – Juranovi? one step away from joining Celtic. After losing to Dinam Zagreb, Legia finally decided to sell one of their best players – informed Izak Ante Su?, a journalist at “germanijak.hr” on Twitter. According to his information, the transfer amount is to be EUR 3 million .
If the deal is completed it will be the sixth signing of Ange Postecoglou, tellingly only Liel Abada falls into the previously preferred project category.
Tony Ralston has started the season very impressively but beyond him there is little in the way of cover for the right-back position.
With inverted full-backs key to the way Postecoglou wants Celtic to play bringing in Juranovic seems to tick most of the boxes for the new hoops boss.
