Radio Clyde resume media access to Ibrox

Radio Clyde were able to interview Ange Postecoglou inside Ibrox today.

It has been widely reported that media outlets would have to pay £25,000 to gain access to Ibrox with STV and Sky Sports appearing to be the only mainstream platforms to comply.

Unless there was a one-off amnesty for today’s match it seems that the Clydebank based station has paid up for pre and post-match access.

Clubs across Scotland provide free media access to most broadcasters and publishers, appreciating the value of publicity which informs fans and gets sponsors logos out in front of a massive audience.

Providing someone from management and playing staff to speak to the media before and after matches is among the rules of the SPFL.

Today Celtic wore the logo of SPFL sponsor cinch but for the fourth match running the Ibrox club blanked the new sponsor of the SPFL.
