Steven Gerrard’s stars have won just TWO of the last EIGHT matches that they have played in front of fans.

The Roll of Honour includes defeats to Hamilton Accies, Hearts, Dundee United, Malmo (twice) and more respectably to Bayer Leverkusen.

In-between those eight matches the Hide and Seek heroes won the SPFL title during a season that no fan witnessed a match live in a stadium.

That run started with a Scottish Cup defeat from relegation bound Hearts prompting James Tavernier to admit that playing with expectations was too much for his team-mates to handle.

After losing 3-1 at home to Bayer Leverkusen Gerrard was given a reprieve by Lockdown during which he kicked up some dust at Celtic being awarded the title with a 13 point lead and eight matches left to play.

Fans were back at Ibrox for a 3-0 win over Livi before normal service was resumed. Malmo twice and Dundee United have reminded Gerrard that his squad are as limited as he is in the dug-out.

After three years of being indulged at every turn he now faces a fire sale as his squad is dismantled leaving Mister Gerrard to get a tune out of stars such as John Lundstram, Ianis Hagi, Cedric Itten and Braveheart skipper Tav.

Good news for Gerrard is that Ryan Jack is expected to resume full training in 7/10 days after making a full recovery from knee surgery in March.
