Willie Collum will referee Saturday’s match between Celtic and St Mirren.
It is the first time this season that the Lanarkshire based referee has been in charge of a Celtic game and almost certainly rules him out of the Glasgow derby the following week. David Munro will be in the middle when Steven Gerrard’s side travel to Ross County on Sunday.
Collum will be assisted by Graeme Leslie and Gordon Crawford with Greg Aitken as the fourth official.
St Mirren go into the match without any fans in the stadium, one point from their first two SPFL matches and on the back on a penalty kick out defeat from Livingston in the Premier Sports Cup.
On the plus side they did win in their only visit to Celtic Park last season, a memory that Ange Postecoglou will be keen to wipe out.
Romanian Ovidiu Ha?egan will referee tonight’s Europa League against AZ Alkmaar.
