Tommy McIntyre has called in experience for tonight’s SPFL Trust Cup tie against Annan Athletic at Airdrie.
In the Lowland League almost an u-18 side racked up a third successive win on Saturday with a 2-0 win away to Bo’ness United.
Only four players (Bosun Lawal, Brodie Paterson, Owen Moffat, Adam Brooks) survive from that result with Lee O’Connor, Dane Murray, Liam Shaw, Luca Connell and Scott Robertson drafted in for tonight’s match against the League Two side.
All of those players featured during the three first team friendlies in Wales but Murray is the only one to have played in a competitive match this season.
Those five players could well be going out on loan later this month with the SPFL Trust Cup tie the chance for them to make an impression on any watching managers or scouts.
