Sky Sports have given their backing to the Sevco boycott of the SPFL’s sponsorship deal with cinch.
For the second weekend running there was no sign of the sponsor’s logo on the high quality Castore blue shirt.
Dundee United and every other SPFL club happily gave publicity to the new sponsor with trackside advertising, and their logo on the shirt and on the backing boards used for pitchside interviews.

Losing manager without backing board
The SPFL have yet to impose any sanctions on the Ibrox club who have no car sales related sponsor on their shirt despite having 32 Red on the front, Utilita on the back of the shirt and Tomket Tires on the sleeve.
With the Premier Sports Cup next weekend it’ll be a fortnight before the SPFL are confronted with the issue again- unless cinch decide to take their £8m elsewhere since the SPFL have failed to deliver.
