Odsonne Edouard has been replaced by Liel Abada in the Celtic side to face AZ Alkmaar tonight.

The Frenchman has been Celtic’s top scorer in each of the last three season’s but hasn’t been in top form under Ange Postecoglou while Kyogo Furuhashi has brought new energy to the side with goals to match.

On the back of four successive wins that has seen the side rack up 16 goals Postecoglou’s side go into tonight’s match with a degree of certainty and confidence- and the backing of a sell-out stadium.

Since the opening day SPFL defeat away to Hearts things have turned swiftly at Celtic with Kyogo Furuhashi a big part of the turnaround.

If Celtic’s new Japanese striker can repeat the form of his last few matches his goals could play a big part in setting the hoops up for next week’s match in the Netherlands and a place in the group phase of the Europa League.

CELTIC: Hart; Ralston, Welsh, Starfelt, Taylor; Rogic, McGregor, Turnbull; Abada, Kyogo, Forrest

SUBS: Barkas, Bain, Ajeti, Bitton, Soro, McCarthy, Edouard, Urgohide, Robertson, Montgomery
