Odsonne Edouard’s exit from Celtic could be delayed by injury.
The striker appeared to pick up an injury in the warm down after Sunday’s 6-0 win over Dundee during which he scored a 90th minute penalty.
Most fans expected Edouard to have been sold by now but Kris Ajer is the only major departure of this window with a £13m fee taking him to Brentford.
Leicester were expected to lead the race for the striker but that trail seemed to go cold with the arrival of Patson Daka at the King Power Stadium.
Kyogo Furuhashi looks like going a long way towards filling in for the loss of Edouard’s goals but there is no certainty that the 23-year-old will be on the move.

Edouard, meanwhile, is facing a sweat to be fit for Thursday’s showdown with Jablonec as the race to land the Hoops hitman hots up with Jose Mourinho’s Roma taking interest.
The frontman slotted a late penalty in Sunday’s 6-0 win against Dundee after coming off the bench. But the 23-year-old got crocked AFTER the game in the warm down and is now a major doubt for the Europa League clash.
Edouard’s future could also be resolved by the end of the week with Brighton in the box seat to land the striker after Southampton opted to move to land Chelsea kid Armando Broja on loan.
Mourinho’s Roma are also in the market for a frontman and sources in Italy have suggested the Hoops star has been flagged up as a potential bargain with Eden Dzeko tipped to head to Inter Milan.
With his lacklustre form this year Celtic appear to be hoping to sell Edouard for £20m. Even with Paris Saint Germain due 40% of the profit on their £9m transfer in 2018 that fee could go a long way in Ange Postecoglou’s budget with the transfer of Ajer funding the deals to sign Furuhashi, Carl Starfelt and Liel Abada.
