Graham Spiers has hit out at the stage-managed media conference held by Gary McAllister last night in Armenia.
With Steven Gerrard and several first team players including two goalkeepers, James Tavernier and Ryan Kent left behind the reasons for their omission was the main (deluded) focus of the media conference.
McAllister didn’t give anything away other than a claim that some/most players had been double vaccinated which seems unlikely based on the general numbers of the population in their twenties.
Were there many journalists at this Rangers presser?
A number of pressing, key issues of the last 24 hours left totally ignored. What a farce.
If “fan media” is the way Rangers FC want to go, fine, but there must be more enquiring supporters who find this totally unhealthy. https://t.co/PQ5DxFGwGU

While Spiers has a point the record of the Scottish media is hardly something to shout about, especially before and after 2012. After initially proclaiming Charles Green as the owner of The Rangers, the new club, that status was quickly ditched as they went all in with the Continuity Lie.
Back in 2009 after a 4-1 Champions League defeat from Unirea Urziceni, Chick Young was the only person in the all-in media conference that could bare to ask Walter Smith a question.
UEFA will test the Ibrox players and management before and after the match against Alashkert.
