Bayer Leverkusen are giving tonight’s match at Celtic Park the full treatment on social media.
Tonight’s venue is one of the most revered in the continent with the return of fans adding to the anticipation for tonight’s match.
With their fan-centred culture German clubs have a special appreciation for the atmosphere at grounds like Celtic Park which has been showcased worldwide by European matches over the last two decades.
Leverkusen go into the match as strong favourites, sitting in second place in the Bundesliga and starting their Europa League campaign with a home win over Ferencvaros.
Jeremie Frimpong’s return to Celtic will be one of the big features in the match but it will be a very different looking side he’ll be playing against to the one he left in January in a £10m deal.
Tonight’s match will be shown on free to air television in Germany.
?@JeremieFrimpong: “It’s nice to be back- I was happy to see the inside of Celtic Park again. I’m looking forward to seeing my former teammates and the fans, but when the kick-off whistle sounds tomorrow, there is only one task: to win.”

?Seoane: “I expect a great atmosphere tomorrow – great fans and a game characterized by attacking football. Celtic have a lot of good players and will want to make life difficult for us – we want to prevent that.”
