Four days after racism was given a police escort through Glasgow city centre followed by a live broadcast from Ibrox, The Times has picked up the baton of putting the blame on Kaflikz schools.
It is a time served deflection method of those so deep in their own prejudices and discrimination. Normally someone gobby and attention seeking will dust down the template to justify the actions of bigots and racists on parents deciding what is best for their child’s education.
From behind their paywall Fiona Rintoul, a writer basing herself in Glasgow and the Isle of Harris has ventured forward to excuse the racist actions of thousands on five-year-old’s going to a certain school.
It really is the most pathetic or arguments. In England and Wales not a word of complaint is published about Catholic Schools but in Scotland and in the six counties in the north-east of Ireland it is a comforting release valve.
Perhaps in her next commission Fifi can explain to Times readers the cultural benefits of Glasgow hosting 34 racist marches on September 11, perhaps she can blame the Kaflikz schools, again.

Due to separate schools, very few Scottish children escape our country’s primary religious divide, writes @fifikinrocks https://t.co/IrVYibbmTx

Victim blaming nonsense!
How many of those chanting racist songs on Sunday went to a denominational school.

FFS only two Countries in the whole World has a problem with Catholic schools. Maybe Fiona should go back to school herself

This tired old line, half the kids in catholic schools are not catholics. How do you tell the evil ones apart from the others?

Why is it catholic schools to blame for the racism of those who don’t go to catholic schools? ?????

Fifi you are a grade A idiot. Schools do not cause sectarianism. It is “taught” at home.
