Kyogo Furuhashi has posted a teasing message on Instagram about his return to action.
Celtic fans haven’t seen the striker in club action since the Glasgow derby on August 29 but this afternoon they were informed ‘each day is a day closer to seeing you again’.
With 145,000 followers on Instagram Kyogo knows how to handle social media as well as he takes a half chance delivered into the penalty box.
On transfer Deadline Day Leigh Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard left Celtic, Giorgos Giakoumakis was brought in but has still to make his debut following his move from VVV Venlo.
With Kyogo injured Albian Ajeti is the only striker available to Ange Postecoglou but the Instagram post will have some Celtic fans speculating if their new hero will feature against Dundee United or Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday night.
The downside of an early return is that Kyogo would then be away on international duty in October but with a lack of striking options there will be a temptation to get Kyogo back in action over the next eight days.
