Ramon Vega has taken to Twitter to back up a story in The Sun that he has contacted Celtic over the vacant post of CEO.
The Swiss internationalist enjoyed a fantastic six month loan spell under Martin O’Neill, helping the hoops to their first treble in 32 years.
What happened next seems to be a bone of contention for many Celtic fans, Vega insists that there was no contract offer put to him, he moved on to join Watford with Bobo Balde arriving soon after to make his mark at Celtic.
After his playing days were over Vega concentrated on a career in business rather than football but has spoken fondly about his time at Celtic on a number of podcasts.
He would be able to bring a range of international contacts to Celtic but with Michael Nicholson in the job on an acting capacity it looks very likely that the Celtic board will go for a safe internal appointment.
Fan engagement is paramount . And as for Hayley Williams I may get warmed up to her by listening it on the way up to paradise in the Car. I will Let you know my thoughts then ????
