Michael Stewart was swamped with answers after he questioned the twisted victimhood of Ibrox fans.
Their crime count for this year alone makes gruesome reading but the mildest of probing from the authorities has provoked an incredible reaction.
Some mild criticism from the Scottish Parliament has virtually been overwhelmed by the anger of thousands online that what has been their way of life is being questioned in 2021.
A week ago hundreds marched through the centre of Glasgow singing about their hatred of Irish settlers, third, fourth and fifth generation from the 19th century famine. They were escorted by police officers with EIGHT people arrested and charged.
So far there appears to be no action taken for similar songs inside Ibrox for the visit of Celtic. Broadcast worldwide by Sky Sports there was no on-air apology with not a word afterwards from the SFA and SPFL.
Social media has been alive with the discussion, virtually alone in the media Michael Stewart has called it out but all around him others remain as deep in denial as those singing the songs of hate.
I struggle to understand how we’ve gone from supporters rampaging through a city, to being banned for racist singing on a bus, to being arrested for racist singing in the streets to now having that group of supporters feeling like they’re being wronged.

It’s all a conspiracy against them. All those anti racist organisations call them out. They can’t look inwardly and see how they’re wrong, they have to lash out instead.
Severely lack of self awareness.

They thrive on victimhood to cover their arrogance. They say @ScottishFA against them. The very organisation which pretends a club which has been liquidated still exists!

I applaud you Michael,,not many have the guts to call this out,and some are jumping on the bandwagon, but you have always called this out without fear,,and for that you deserve massive respect ??

Because they truly believe the WATP philosophy makes the immune from being held to any standard of reasonable behaviour.

MSM has enabled them for years. They now feel its their birth right. Its like the Deep South in the 60’s, they have a long journey to embark on.

Perhaps the years of denial that they have a problem and condoning an Anti-Irish and Anti Catholic song book.
Could have something to do with the reality of living in 2021 and that their actions now have consequences.— Notorious 67???????? (@67Notorious) September 4, 2021
It is the feeling of self entitlement that they’ve always had.

They play the victim card quite magnificently & have always done so.
Just like in 2012, blaming everything and anything to absolve them of any blame whilst threatening (no laughing at the back) any club/organisation is standard
If only we had proper leadership in this country

A warped sense of entitlement and delusion which has sadly been indulged for hundreds of years

Its every time Michael. Its NEVER their fault and that’s where part of the problem lies. This isn’t a new thing with them, it dates way back…
Recently though, it’s as if the fans of the new rangers want revenge for the death of the old one .— Sláinte CSC ???????? (@StevieH273) September 4, 2021
