Kyogo Furuhashi has been pictured back in training at Lennoxtown.

The striker made a devastating impact following his move to Celtic, scoring seven goals in a month before being injured playing for Japan against China on September 7.

There seemed little obvious impact or injury which added to concerns when he was replaced early in the second half.

After a few days of speculation about the extent of the injury Ange Postecoglou told the media on September 10 that it was looking like a three or four week absence for the striker.

From the image it appears that Kyogo is training on his own, probably running around the edge of the pitches but that would suggest that he has full mobility back in his knee. A close look at the picture in the top left reveals his distinctive hair style.

After three matches out injured it is clear that Kyogo brought a real attacking edge to Ange’s system, linking especially well with Liel Abada.

He clearly won’t be back to face Raith Rovers but with a full week to go until Celtic take on Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League that match could be a target or the October 3 match against Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
