Neil Lennon will be providing expert analysis of Celtic’s match against Bayer Leverkusen tonight- a year after his disastrous Europa League campaign saw the hoops shipping in three goals per game.
Twelve months ago the Irishman was firing excuses at supporters over a ‘campaign’ that brought in one point from five matches before beating Lille 3-2 in a dead rubber where David Turnbull started his first European tie.
Celtic started last season in the Europa League with a 3-1 home defeat from AC Milan showed promise and vulnerability as they drew 2-2 away to Lille then lost four goals home and away to Sparta Prague and away to AC Milan.
Check out the line up ????…Huge night for @CelticFC in front of a home crowd..I’ll be chatting to the managers and hoping the rain stays off. ?? ?? @Sports_EmmaD will be doing the same from Prague..not sure about the weather there though? ?? ? All the action on @btsport https://t.co/P8hJSfJFz4

Tonight’s Celtic side will be virtually unrecognisable from the side Lennon managed last season but the same defensive issues were evident in the 4-3 defeat away to Real Betis in matchday one.
Having Lennon and Paul Lambert in their prime of 2002 alongside Stan Petrov and a couple of potent strikers and imposing defenders would be very welcome as the hoops take on the side sitting second in the Bundesliga.
Ha ha dont make me laugh. Fckn expert analysis. This is the guy who started all this wae putting McGregor at left back against Cluj and no strikers.
