Sky Sports shock for Celtic fans

wanting to watch today’s match from Livingston will have to fork out £20 to buy a live stream of the action.

Until last season when signed an exclusive five year deal with the SPFL almost every Celtic SPFL away match was shown live. If Sky didn’t pick it BT Sport would pounce on the match.

Today Sky will show v Dundee live, it does have a local appeal on Tayside but the reality is that it involves two teams in the bottom half of the SPFL.

Celtic quickly sold out their 7,000 allocation of tickets for Livingston today but that demand hasn’t been reflected by Sky’s decision to put on the match from Tannadice.

In two weeks time Sky will show the away match against Aberdeen- a fixture that is almost always picked by the broadcasters but the games away to Motherwell (October 16) and Hibs (October 27) won’t be on meaning that will have to pay for live streams from the home clubs.

Thursday’s Cup tie at home to will be live on Premier Sports.

For my birthday, my wife bought me an i-pad, I also bought a VPN from Norton, the VPN shows your address as London. I watch the games on my i-pad, though some of the games would make you greet, such is the life of the Celtic supporter, the quality of the coverage yesterday at Livingston was brilliant, again, thanks to the Livvy media team, though it never cost me a penny, same with all the games
I will never buy into Sky, this is the company who placed the wrong words into the tub of lard, slandering Celtic supporters. I will never buy a newspaper because their coverage is biased. Same with BBC – EBT Sport – Scotland. If only Celtic could produce the games at a realistic cost, for everyone. #Don’t give them a penny.
