Team News: Ange forced into three changes but still no starting place for McCarthy

Ange Postecoglou has made three changes to the Celtic side that beat Ross County on Saturday with Adam Montgomery starting his first match of the season.

Tony Ralston and Ismaila Soro come into the side with Liam Scales, recently signed from Shamrock Rovers listed on the bench for the first time. Joe Hart will captain the side.

From the side that started against Ross County on Saturday Callum McGregor, Greg Taylor and Liel Abada drop out with a look at tonight’s bench highlighting the lack of experience in the current squad.

Stephen Welsh and Dane Murray are the only subs to have started a competitive match this season, Betis have their full compliment of 12 substitues listed, Celtic have nine with two of them goalkeepers.

While the action is underway in Seville Bayer Leverkusen take on Ferencvaros with the German side visiting Celtic Park in two weeks time.

Nir Bitton and Abada will be back in contention to play against Livingston on Sunday.
