Boli Bolingoli is the shock name on the Celtic team-sheet at Livingston today as Ange Postecoglou makes four changes to the side that lost 4-3 to Real Betis in midweek.

It is 18 months since Bolingoli started a match for Celtic, a year ago he was sent out on loan to Turkey after giving himself a trip to Spain and failing to self isolate on return. With 7,000 Celtic fans at today’s game Bolingoli could be in for a lively afternoon.

Stephen Welsh also comes into the defence at the expence of Carl Starfelt with James McCarthy and Liel Abada making the starting XI.

Adam Montgomery looked likely to start at left-back but finds himself on the bench alongside Mikey Johnston who is involved for the first time since he was injured in a pre-season match against Bristol City two months ago.

An away win would lift Celtic into second place in the table but after defeats at Tynecastle and Ibrox breaking that early sequence is all important.

Livingston have yet to register a win in the SPFL this season, a 0-0 draw away to Dundee last Saturday was their first point of the season.

On Thursday Celtic are at home to Raith Rovers in the Premier Sports Cup followed three days later by an SPFL visit from Dundee United.

CELTIC: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Welsh, Bolingoli; Turnbull, McCarthy, Rogic; Abada, Ajeti, Jota

SUBS: Bain, Scales, Bitton, Soro, Johnston, Montgomery, Ralston
