Celtic fans rallied behind Ange Postecoglou as he fired back at the condescending nature of questions put to him.
The current Celtic boss built his reputation in Australia and Japan before his surprise appointment in June to take over from Neil Lennon.
From the onset there has been a media curiosity about exactly what someone from the southern hemisphere knows about Celtic, Scottish football and the demands of managing in Glasgow.
Postecoglou has been mainly respectful to the variety of questions thrown at him. Since declaring it weird that some were writing off Celtic’s title hopes in September there has been more scrutiny of Postecoglou’s methods and the downturn in results at Celtic.
With a six-point deficit after seven SPFL matches there isn’t much margin for error for the new Celtic boss, when Brendan Rodgers came in he took the side on a 67-match unbeaten domestic run. That was ended by a defeat at Tynecastle, the venue where Postecoglou started his Celtic career with a defeat.
The Celtic boss knows that it is a results driven business, criticising the media with earn the approval of many fans but the next time his side slip up the scrutiny on Postecoglou will be cranked up.
? “The one thing I don’t like is the condescending nature of the questions…that I don’t understand the nature of the football club…”

Love this guy and his press conferences. Especially when he tells it like it is. Telling the ever so ” Unbiased Media ” more or less where to go. If only those in charge did the same with the five way agreement, the SFA & SPFL.

He’s spot on.the treatment he has got from the media has been a joke.Gerard got nowhere near the same treatment after he watched celtic win 2 trebles while in charge of rangers.

Scottish media, the most negative people on the planet. Right behind the manager. It will take time. Inherited a shambles, he’s had 1 transfer window and currently has a load of players out. People should also consider he has to deal with a board that have their own agenda.
