Even when he is out injured Kyogo Furuhashi just can’t get enough of his new Celtic experience.

Seven goals in the space of a month certainly made an impact following his move from the J League but it is obvious that there is much more to the 26-year-old than smashing the ball into the net.

Following his hat-trick against Dundee in his home debut he showed his gratitude for picking up the Man of the Match award by saluting the fans and announcement from his seat in the stand after being substituted.

While out injured he has been seen celebrating goals exactly as if he was out on the pitch, last night before the match against Raith Rovers he took his cheer-leading role a few steps further.

As Ange Postecoglou’s squad drifted off from their pre-match warm up there was a familiar figure standing at the dug-out to fist-bump them ahead of the game.

You can tell from the reactions of the players that Kyogo is a popular member of the dressing room, someone with an infectious character that rubs off on those around him.

This week the Japanese striker has been seen running around the pitches at Lennoxtown as he recovers from injury- his return on the pitch will be as popular among his team-mates as it will undoubtedly be in the stands as the fans welcome back their new idol.
