Video: Watch the goal joy of Celtic’s Kano Kids

The Kano Foundation is something that every Celtic fan can identify with.

Over the last decade the charity group has grown on the simple basis of giving kids that wouldn’t normally be able to attend a day out at Celtic Park.

Funded solely by donations from supporters’, kids from different schools and groups from a variety of backgrounds are given a day to remember highlighted by a seat in the Lisbon Lions Stand.

There is always an extra buzz around their section behind the goals, halfway between the Green Brigade and the pocket of visiting supporters.

With the first half of today’s match looking like ending goal-less the match sprung into life. Tony Ralston fired a cross in with Giorgos Giakoumakis opening his Celtic account with a goal from seven yards out.

The scorer won’t forget his first Celtic goal- and neither will the Kano kids who joined in the celebrations with Celtic running out 2-0 winners to complete a memorable day.
