Tuesday, October 19 was a Green Letter Day for one young fan as he visited Celtic Park for the first time.
Every parent has a bit of concern that it might be overwhelming but as he walked up the steps to be greeted by a sea of green this young fan felt very much at home.
Looking around at the three surrounding stands framing the pitch made a huge impact with Dad almost as emotional as his bhoy.
This has honestly made my life nevermind day! been a wreck all day today worrying he wouldn’t like it what a day with my best wee friend and who I get to call son??? he can’t stop shouting about kyogo? pic.twitter.com/uqTVbBYJH8

Oh my goodness we saw you both at the snack vans outside the stadium. You were taking his photo & you scooped him up to carry him as the rain started. Of all the folk I walked passed I totally remembered you both, he had the biggest smile and it was so sweet!! ?

Keep that for posterity, that smile just there is what it means to all of us, it speaks volumes for all of us.
Some people could talk for hours and not get across the feeling it gives us, your wee bhoy just showed it with the sheer joy on his wee face. HH— ROBERT DOWNEY (@bobodowney) October 20, 2021
As first games go it wasn’t a bad one to select as Celtic enjoyed a win at the third attempt in this season’s Europa League.
Nine-in-a-row (again) and a Quadruple Treble will be historical footnotes when the fan grows up, his first heroes will be Kyogo and Jota who combined for Celtic’s opening goal.
Somehow David Turnbull forced the ball home before the players made their way around the stadium to thank the fans- with one young ‘un setting a high bench mark for his first Celtic game.
