Josip Juranovic had to make a hospital visit following Celtic’s midweek win over Hibs at Easter Road.

Midway through the second half the Celtic defender was caught by the flailing arm of Martin Boyle with Hibs taking advantage to break up the park.

Juranovic required a few minutes of treatment before he was able to continue but required further checks after the final whistle.

Josip Juranovic ended up going to hospital, it was a pretty significant injury to his eye. Thankfully, again for him it’s not serious and he has had it looked at and will be available for the game tomorrow.

With Tony Ralston in top form Juranovic looks certain to continue at left-back with Celtic retaining the same back four for the third consecutive match.

A change will be required in midfield with Tom Rogic missing but on the back of four consecutive wins in the SPFL Premiership the hoops will be looking to avenge their defeat at Livi last month to go to the top of the league.

After ending September with a draw against Dundee United and heavy defeat from Bayer Leverkusen October looked like being a critical month for Angeball.

Five wins including a victory over Ferencvaros have built up some momentum with the return of Juranovic a very steadying influence on the defence.
