The brilliant sound, sights and feeling off a late winner away from home returned yesterday at Pittodrie as Celtic fans enjoyed a goal from Jota in the 84th minute.

It seems that at least one Celtic fan was in with the Dons supporters in the Richard Donald stand, capturing the incident on his phone with a quick glimpse left at the visitors in the South Stand.

Pittodrie was well short of capacity for the 12 noon televised match but for reasons best known to themselves Aberdeen restricted the away allocation to around 1,800 tickets.

The Celtic fans have waited a while for that winning feeling on the road, for much of the second half it looked like another couple of points would be frittered away.

An effort from the shoulder of Lewis Ferguson had cancelled out Kyogo Furuhashi’s opener off the crest on his Celtic shirt as the clock ticked down towards the international break.

Tom Rogic started the move, Adam Montgomery provided the perfect assist with loan bhoy Jota taking the acclaim for providing some relief and hope for Celtic fans with the next match at Motherwell on October 16 likely to be just as demanding.
