Celtic fans could be given an additional 1,000 tickets for the match at Motherwell next Saturday after the Red Zone was removed by the Joint Response Group.

The need for additional safety zones for players has resulted in areas of seating being out of bounds with fans relocated and capacities reduced.

At Motherwell the away team has had to use changing facilities behind the South Stand which has had a knock-on effect on capacities. Celtic should now be able to use the usual dressing room allowing 1,000 more seats for away fans.

The decision to remove the Red Zone comes after Hearts made a complaint to the SPFL about not being given any tickets for their trip to Ibrox on Saturday.

With full capacity restored fans should be back in their usual seats allowing 800 Hearts fans to watch their team in action on October 16.

No domestic away fans have been inside Celtic Park this season but there now seems to be no reason not to have St Johnstone fans inside the stadium on October 23.
