Celtic issue update for travelling supporters

Celtic fans WON’T have to produce a Vaccine Passport to gain entry to Pittodrie on Sunday.

New legislation relating to crowds of over 10,000 came into force although an 18 day grace period has been applied before the law comes into force.

Getting thousands into a venue over a 30 minute period is tough enough but problems with the App have added to the issues with Aberdeen announcing late this afternoon that they won’t be implanting the ruling.

Celtic’s allocation of tickets for Aberdeen has been whittled away down the years with just three sections of the South Stand available to visiting supporters.

The grace period will be over by the time Celtic take on Ferencvaros on October 19 with the home game against St Johnstone on October 23 the first fixture that will impact on Season Ticket holders.
