Celtic fans with a ticket and who can reach Easter Road by 7.45pm tonight won’t be allowed to fly the flag.
Late this afternoon Hibs informed Celtic that no flags or banners will be permitted at tonight’s match if the stick is more than one metre in length.
A flagpole of one metre or less is virtually worthless unless they are of the ceremonial type handed out to everyone at major events such as opening or closing ceremonies.
Fans sustain the Scottish game yet are continually faced with barriers preventing their enjoyment of it.
£33 for tonight’s match and the away support await being herded like cattle at the gates, subjected to various checks, and can’t even take banners or bags. https://t.co/EZrB85VNmh

Yup, it’s like they sit down and think up new ideas to kill the spectacle.

What next , no noise over 60db , 10
Chants per supporter , no boos longer than 3 seconds .— Ppb (@pudpudboogie2) October 27, 2021
At £33 for a ticket it is an expensive midweek to travel through to Edinburgh to watch the hoops but as they demonstrated with last Tuesday’s 3.30pm kick-off against Ferencvaros the Celtic support will be out in force.
No restrictions have yet been imposed on singing with the away support expected to be in full voice as Ange Postecoglou’s side chase their fourth successive SPFL win as the first round of fixtures is completed.
